International Foundation Giving
Tuesday, November 10, 2020
By: Bob ZerbyWelcome to November - Our Rotary International Foundation Month.
I know many clubs emphasize donating to the Foundation during November and this year so many of you are taking precautions and zooming in to those meetings. So here is a way to make donations easier and a chance to enter a contest to win $100 at the same time.
Rotary Direct allows members to make their donation using their account in MyRotary. If you have not registered for an account, it is very easy and instructions to do so are attached. If you need further assistance you can contact your club secretary, the district secretary, or me.
- can enter a single or recurring donation on your credit card and can designate the TRF Annual Fund (where half of your donation comes back to our District for local projects) or the Polio Fund, if you haven’t had a chance to support the Polio Plus effort yet. Recurring can be annual or monthly. Just think, you would not have to write a check every year if you make the donation recurring! And it saves your club time filling out extra paperwork to send your donation on your behalf.
Contest Rules:
- Make your TRF donation via Rotary Direct by December 15, 2020 to be eligible.
- Persons having used Rotary Direct since July 1, 2020 are eligible.
- The donation can be for any amount.
- At least one donation should be for the Annual Fund (this is the fund that helps support our District grants to help your communities).
- Ten - $100 gift cards will be awarded in a drawing.
