No meeting this week! It is the 3rd Thursday

Hello everyone

This week is the 3rd Thursday of the month so we will not be having a meeting.  Next week is the Transition Dinner so we will not be having a morning meeting next week either.

Rotary Habitation Project

Please see the information below for our upcoming Habitat service project.  Dan Weng is collecting names for those who can attend.  Thanks!

Specific information regarding your Powell Rotary Club build day:

• Group Build Day, Saturday, June 19, 2021
• Site:  24 David St., Delaware
• There is plenty of street parking
• We will get started at 8:30 and work until 2:30.
• Project: Misc. Carpentry.
• You will break for lunch at 11:30 for about 30 minutes. You are free to leave for lunch or have lunch delivered
• We will need waivers signed by all volunteers who will work on site. (please bring along on June 19)
• We suggest that volunteers wear boots, or old shoes, and bring work gloves.
• We provide hardhats for our volunteers to wear on site.  All tools are sanitized each day.
• Tools and materials will be provided by Steve Perkins, our construction manager.

Very active weekend for the Rotary Club

Our Rotary Club really stepped up this Memorial Day Weekend!

Saturday morning we had a great group of members, family, and friends setting up 80 or so Flags.  Monday we had a float in the parade as well as the taking down of the field of flags.  Thanks to all who were able to particitpate!

Please plan to attend, with a guest or solo, the transition dinner on June 24 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Scioto Reserve.
